Rajni Sari, the Princess of Rainusa, is forced to flee the palace to follow her mother, Lastika.
Together with Jaka, a rogue fighter appointed as a royal bodyguard, Sari embarks on a series of adventures that bring her face-to-face with powerful figures.
Love blossoms between Sari and Jaka, but her destiny as the daughter of Lastika, who turns out to be Calon Arang, separates her from Jaka. Sari prefers her mother more than her lover.
